We both value the research of modern science and the many developments that have been discovered.

We also value the depth of wisdom and knowledge of traditional and classical five element acupuncture, which integrates the many aspects of body and mind.

We acknowledge the information gained from research, and we endevaour to use it where appropriate when meeting the needs of an individual who is suffering in health.

We hope later to share more information on the five elements of acupuncture.

(2018)  Clinical effect and mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion on occupational hand-arm vibration disease (HAVD):a retrospective study.

‘Conclusions:Combination of acupuncture and moxibustion may be an effective treatment for occupational HAVD,the mechanism is possibly related to reduction of the serum TNFα levels '


'Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) is a proinflammatory cytokine that is mainly produced by macrophages and monocytes,and it is also an important regulatory factor

in the body’s inflammatory response and immune response.Long-term expression of TNFα at high levels can lead to inflammation and apoptosis'


'Hegu(L14),Waiguan (SJ5),Baxie (Extra 28). A single hand acupuncture was performed with a 0.30 × 50 mm disposable sterile acupuncture needle with the reinforcing-reducing method once a day,and the

needle was retained for 30 min every time.Moxibustion was performed at the Hegu(L14) and Waiguan(SJ5) points with two moxa cones after the arrival of Qi.This

treatment was administered five times a week, continuously for 4 weeks.'
